Thanks to everyone for a great meeting on Tuesday. We discussed campaigns, actions, events and discussion topics for the coming few months. A fuller report of our plans for the next six months will be posted shortly. For now here’s some dates for you diaries, Feminist Brighton meetings and other events of interest.
The main thing to note is that we agreed wholeheartedly to have TWO meetings a month, increasing Feminist Brighton activites 100% for 2012! We will continue to have a regular discussion meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. Alongside this we will hold an action meeting on a Thursday, when we will devote our time to planning events, campaigns and generally doing stuff. All these meetings will be held 7-9pm at the Friends Meeting House on Ship Street, unless otherwise stated.
Our next meeting will be on THURSDAY 26th January, 7-9.30pm at the Friends Meeting House (meet from 7pm in the cafe room before moving to the main room at 7.40pm, I’ll bring the biscuits). At our first devoted action meeting we will pledge our support for the Turn Your Back on Page 3 Campaign, explore web forum opportunities for the group, and discuss upcoming events such as International Women’s Day and our involvement in it.
