Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets this month for the Poppy project. We have now finished the draw and will be sending £100 to the Poppy Project, bringing our total raised to nearly £800!
Eaves Housing have sent me a newletter, which is attached below, with new about the project. The good news is Eaves are still providing vital support to victims of trafficking via the Poppy project. Despite generous donations howvere they have had to restructure their service; staff have been made redundant and they can now only provide 15 beds spaces, rather than 54. So it is as vital as ever that they receive donations from individuals and groups who can support them.
Feminist Brighton’s tea party features in the newletter, if you scroll to the last page you will see the banner Katy made for the tea party.
You can also support Eaves by signing their petition calling on the government to stop detaining trafficked people
