With NUT members voting 92% in favour of strike action and ATL 83% co-ordinated public sector strike action took a step closer today. We fully expect the PCS to follow suit with an announcement tomorrow, UCU already have an active ballot. The battle to protect pensions, jobs and pay is on!
Such strong votes show union members support but groups like Stop the Cuts have a key role in helping get the message out beyond those directly involved.
