Feminist Brighton tea time fundraiser, calling bands and bakers

We are holding a tea time style fundraising party at the end of June to raise money for the Poppy Project, a London based charity which supports women who have been trafficked. As of earlier last month, the Poppy project is set to lose its funding in June this year. We will be holding a tea time party at the end of June to raise money for the project, and to raise awareness about the wider context of cuts to women’s services.

We need people to get involved and be a part of the event. If you play in a band we would love you to play at the party to entertain the guests. If you bake or can make bunting get in touch.

The next planning meeting is on the 17th May, 7pm at the Friends Meeting House
